Embark on an extraordinary journey into the realm of sci-fi wonders as we invite you to join our Light Saber Meet Up at the opening ceremony of the May the 4th sci-fi film festival, hosted at the enchanting Portmagee Whiskey Domes along the stunning Skellig Coast.

Kickstart the evening at 5pm with our very own Comic Con, where the first 100 young Jedi in attendance will be gifted their very own lightsabers – a key to unlocking the adventures that await. Before diving into the epic battles, tantalize your taste buds with delectable delights from our amazing street food vendors. Feel free to come dressed in your favorite sci-fi costumes, adding a touch of intergalactic flair to the festivities.

As the clock strikes 6:30pm, gather for the Official Opening Ceremony, setting the stage for an evening of cosmic encounters. At 7pm, let the battles begin in a Lightsaber Battle like no other, where participants will clash with Star Wars characters donned in full, screen-accurate costumes. The energy will be palpable as the Force intertwines with every swing and clash.

Following the intense duels, join us at 7:30pm for a Star Wars-themed parade that will march through the main street in Portmagee. Revel in the sights and sounds of the galaxy, showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm of our sci-fi community.

Culminating the night at 8pm, settle in for a cinematic experience like never before – the official opening film of the May the 4th Sci-Fi Film Festival. And here's the best part – it's all free of charge!
